Flatirons Digital Innovations (FDI) recently accepted an invitation to join the Texas-based Healthcare Think Tank (HTT). HTT is an exclusive organization with selective members consisting of professional leaders who do business within the healthcare industry. The organization’s mission is to facilitate learning about healthcare-related topics that impact members’ communities, the country, and the world. In addition, HTT seeks to help its members create new relationships in order to develop business alliances and opportunities among each other.

HTT hosts monthly meetings at its four chapters in Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and North Texas. It publishes a monthly newsletter and maintains a LinkedIn group for its members to discuss and learn about cutting-edge ideas and technology, medical devices, biomedicine, healthcare legislation, hospital matters, practice management concerns, and implementation of the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act.

FDI provides consulting and implementation services for hospitals, academic medical centers, and healthcare networks. It specializes in helping clients address content and data management needs through data archiving and application decommissioning that stem from mergers and acquisitions, IT transformation, data center consolidation, and corporate compliance initiatives.

“We’re pleased to welcome FDI to the Healthcare Think Tank,” said Linda Elliott, founder of HTT. “The perspectives and experiences FDI will contribute through participation in our four chapters bring valuable insights into healthcare technology for our members. We’re happy to have them on board.”

“I’m excited at the opportunity to join HTT in all four Texas locations,” said Frank Hughes, regional sales director and healthcare technology specialist with FDI. “It’s a unique networking environment and an excellent forum for building relationships with healthcare leaders who want to help each other succeed.”
