Who Uses Implementation Services?
Are you ready to deploy your new content technology solution? Do you lack the internal resources to support the project or the technical expertise to ensure that the solution is implemented timely and correctly? If so, consider Flatirons’ Implementation Services.
We specialize in deploying content technology solutions, whether they’re defined by you or in conjunction with us through our Technology Assessments or Solution Blueprints services. We take pride in partnering with each client to deploy your unique solution in your environment and for your team. We’re committed to seeing each project through and will be with you until you’re satisfied.
How Do Integration Services Work?
The solution to be implemented is based on previously documented and agreed upon functional and system design documentation. To execute the project, we follow an agile implementation methodology with iterative development, testing, and deployment of defined business and technology functionality. The benefit of an agile approach is short development cycles and frequent communication. This allows visibility into how the system will actually function and gives you the opportunity to make changes early on with minimal impact to project schedule or cost.
Solution Implementation depends primarily on the number of development iterations and the average length of each iteration.
Prep Iteration
Implementation begins with a Prep iteration in which the Project Management Plan, Change Management / Business Readiness Plan are refined, and the detailed iteration plan is set up. Refinements to the initial set of user stories and user acceptance test scenarios are also made as needed, and the environment setup is completed.
Business Architect
In parallel with development iterations, a business architect works with users to ensure that expectations are properly set, new requirements and insights are properly integrated into user stories, and user involvement is kept efficient and effective.
Deployment
When all implementation iterations are complete, a final Solution Deployment iteration is performed for system-level user acceptance testing, training, roll-out, and deployment. This includes formal system, content, and business readiness checks as well as a final update to the Solution Design document to reflect the design as implemented. When these are complete, the solution is deployed to Production, and the project moves into the Solution Support phase.
